A Few Words About Us

I am writing to you as one of your own. I am Craig Holland, CPCU, CMCA / President of Babb-FL (the largest privately owned insurance agency and TPA in Pittsburgh) and a licensed FL CAM (License number: CAM 3611). I insure over ninety communities from condos, HOA's, POA's and commercial condo associations. I offer the following services:

• I will attend all BOD meeting and take questions from the membership. Insurance is often a "football" within the community, by doing a "quasi-press conference" I can handle the insurance related questions (both personal and association based) and can help eliminate plaque from developing within a community. Addressing the questions directly can quiet the shadow board critic.
• My firm represents over a hundred carriers, we have the markets to comprehensively price the association coverage.
• I will happily meet with the BOD and the manager to aid in developing a precise insurance forecast for budget purposes.
• Our sub site contains articles of “Where does personal insurance stop and commercial insurance start?”. Articles specific to property and community association management. FAQ’s, what BOD members should consider when reviewing D&O coverage, etc…this is a living site, which I update with articles relevant to the management of real estate.

Craig Holland is one of the few Community Association Managers and commercial insurance brokers in the USA.

Craig graduated from University of South Florida with a B.A. in Public Administration in 1988. Craig became a commercial insurance broker in 1992 with a specialty in commercial property. Craig's current clients are REIT's, family land partnerships for commercial buildings, industrial park associations, apartment buildings, and condominiums. Craig's combined client insurable values are over $1,045,000,000. In an effort to fully understand his property management clients, Craig passed the test as a Florida licensed community association manager (who does not manage any property), the CMCA Property Management Designation in 2011, and Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter Designation in 2013.

Craig resides in both Fort Myers, Florida and Sewickley, Pennsylvania with his wife and two daughters.
